Paper poppers are great for scaring and pranking your friends and siblings. When you fold a piece of paper correctly, you can make air pockets, creating a loud pop sound when you press the paper with the correct method. Just a piece of paper and some strength in your wrist to get started, and you’ll soon own a popper all for yourself!
Start by laying out a piece of paper. You do not want to make a stiff off the paper because otherwise, it will not work.
Then fold it half and then fold it in half.
Then, fold all the corners into the line you created in the earlier step. After that, fold it in half over the line.
It is then time to fold it into two and then fold it in half again.
After that, fold the corners on this line.
Fold it over so that it makes an arc. Please keep it in the position shown in the photo below, then whip your arms upwards. The arm should make a loud thud. When it is broken and out, it tends to get louder. Take your time and have fun.
- Keep your wrist downwards when throwing your popper for more volume.
- Try using different papers like coloured construction paper. Paper with diverse textures to test if you make more sounds.
- You can embellish your popper to make it stand out and individual.
