When I visited cities, I witnessed many beautiful architectures and diverse historical backdrops. Many of these cities are home to intriguing historical backgrounds that have led to their growth, and many visitors come to them every year. Many have evolved and developed their distinct style and aesthetic that draws visitors daily. I’ve researched and put together some of the most gorgeous cities I’ve visited and others I’d love to see one day.
ALESUND Norway, ALESUND
In the aftermath of a fire that devastated much of Alesund in 1904, the city emerged in 1904 with breathtaking Art Nouveau architecture and one of Europe’s most stunning designs. Enjoy the beautiful city on a kayak through the Brosundet canal that winds through the heart part of Alesund. Go on a boat trip through the Geirangerfjord or trek to Mount Aksla. Mount Aksla’s viewpoint offers marvelous perspectives of this stunning location.
